On 8 April 2026, Ambassador of Hungary, His Excellency Mr Viktor Géza Fülöp presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of South Africa, His Excellency Mr Cyril Ramaphosa at a ceremony held at the Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guesthouse in Pretoria.
Upon presenting his Letters of Credence to President Ramaphosa, Hungarian Ambassador Viktor Géza Fülöp reaffirmed Hungary’s commitment to further strenghtening the friendly relations between the two countries and expressed his readiness to contribute to the continued development of bilateral cooperation.
