We were delighted to welcome Hungarian fashion designer Viktória Varga to the Embassy. She is visiting South Africa for the Soweto Fashion Week, where she will present her AW26 collection to an African audience for the very first time.
Viktória Varga’s work is centred around empowering women and celebrating self-expression. Her collections reflect confidence, individuality, and femininity, with a distinctive use of vibrant colours, bold silhouettes, and refined yet striking design elements that highlight the personality of the wearer.
Ambassador Viktor Géza Fülöp and female colleagues of the Embassy also took part in the meeting, which provided an excellent opportunity for a constructive and engaging discussion on potential avenues for expanding the presence of Hungarian fashion in Africa.
