Presentation of the Ambassador's Letters of Credence to President Ramaphosa
On 14 April 2021, Ambassador of Hungary, His Excellency Mr Attila Horváth presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of South Africa, His Excellency Mr Cyril Ramaphosa at a ceremony held at the Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guesthouse in Pretoria.
Presenting his Letters of Credence to President Ramaphosa, Hungarian Ambassador Attila Horváth said that he will do his best to work towards strengthening the relations between the two countries - quoted by the South African Government News Agency.
In 2021, Hungary is proud to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Hungary and South Africa.
There is excellent cooperation between the two countries in many fields, including higher education, science and technology, and water resource management. Further Hungarian-South African bilateral agreements will be ready for signing in the near future.
